First of all, the pixel art is gorgeous. Love the detail that was brought to the arm's shaking, and the monster design is great. I was a bit confused by the dancing bit, especially for doing the twist, I thought it was a cancel cross instead of an X, so I tried to hit escape, then space, then I saw a C and understood it was an X. Having a more complex level design with corridors or trees (anything to hide the monster) could also help in making the game more interesting and challenging. The music is cool, and the ending you described in the comments sounds hilarious, best of luck if you plan to flesh out the game at some point!
