I actually found a way to get around the crashes, if you install the patch, delete the reshade by deleting the "d3d9.dll" file, and you run the game through Windows 7 compatibility mode, it crashes a lot less or even doesn't crash. I hope this for somebody to be useful, becuase this is actually a really good game!
