When I drew the main character on the first day of the project, I didn't have enough time to put in a run attack animation. So when I implemented the attacking in the game, I unfortunately had to lock the player's movement for the sanctity of the animations. Also boss i-frames were so wack to balance without making it so that you could stun lock the boss. Attacking is definitely something I wish I could have polished more.
