This is my first jam and while I'm really excited I'm also really freaking lost :(. More experienced people please give me tips.

Its my first jam too but here are some tips to find a good game idea:

1. scroll through random halloween assets

2. scroll through random halloween games (i dont put a link to my own because its forbidden )

3. draw random sketches on a piece of paper until you  get a good idea

Don't overscope either. It's something everyone does, and just try and make a small but fun game with just one or two mechanics. It will help you make a more manageable game
