Nooo, don't abandon this game! As a game developer myself, I can tell you that somedays you do want to quit, but I'm telling you, don't. You never know if someone will like it or if you will come up with a new idea to improve your game by a lot. Instead of quitting, maybe you just need a break from it. Recollect your thoughts, and when your ready, come back to it. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to quit my game just because of it lacking attention or because of a bad storyline or coding, but I didn't quit, and now, my game looks really good, and I'm improving it everyday. So don't quit working on your projects, if you get into that mindset, you will get nothing done. Instead, keep pushing yourself to do more. Trust me, it will be worth it in the end.

If your making a game, don't make your goal about money, that's how you mess up. Because if your goal is about money, then your focus is to get your game out there more quickly, making it sloppy. Your goal for this game instead should about improving your skills and learning new things. And then, if your game blows up, money becomes a factor. But for right, keep your goal about improving the game in any way possible and improving your skills, not about finishing the game and getting money for it.
I suggest watching this video to get into the right mind set for making games. I hope I helped! -Dev_Dev
