some points of criticism:
- the tree decorations are very repetitive and if they were used much more sparingly and had alternate sprites the game would be much more visually appealing
- the background would look much nicer and appear to be endless if it wasn't mirrored
- the menu buttons could be much nicer, especially without all the little shining lights reflecting against them that make them much more visually noisy
