I saved $12 this month for the game, now it will take me about three months to purchase and play the game T-T.....

Hey - the Patreon version of the game will be $12 dollars, you can subscribe for just one month to get the current version of the game; or; wait until the game is more progressed to get the "snapshot" of the game as it is released - unfortunately no updates can be downloaded on Patreon unless your subscription is current, so it would be $12 each month you stay subscribed.
Chewy and Stewie both know that there are guys out there with limited funds, and this is why the Patreon version of the game has been made available; and they're cool with you subscribing for just the months you can afford (cancelling as you need to).
