Hello to Innersloth! I would like to add a suggestion for Among Us which pertains to Game Modes.
◆ Hide and Seek
I think there should also be another game mode for Among Us. The mechanics is simple, no tasks, no kills, limited sabotages (disabled usage of admin room, because it shows location of crewmates) just people finding other people and a time limit. The crew can hide in spaces around the map (for example, under the Medical Beds at the Medbay in The Skeld, or in the lockers at Mira HQ). Among Us has so much potential! (PS. The Hiders will become Seekers too of course)
Another suggestion I would like to add for the Normal Game Mode would be Hiding Spaces and Task Sabotages for Impostors
◆ Hiding Spaces
It would make it easier for Impostors if there were hiding spaces they could interact with, aside from the Vents. In key locations such as under the tables in the cafeteria of Mira and Skeld, of course, there would be an animation delay to nerf the power of this feature (hiding and unhiding animation).
◆ Task Sabotages (kinda like Traps)
Don't we have that already? Well, I have another thing in mind. Task Sabotages are limited and are an extra special ability for Imposters, for example, in the Electrical Room, a simple "Connect the Wires" task can become the death of a Crewmate without the Impostor being around, that would mean the Crewmate would die of electrecution, of course these kind of sabotages should be limited, and it should have a Time Duration in which that Trap expires from the time it was Sabotaged.
◆ Impostor Specialties
Just like how the other people have suggested, Aliens, Serial Killers, Doppleganger, etc.
◆ Crewmate Roles (for role-play purposes and some for Impostor detection)
Just like how the other people have suggested:
☆Doctor (Role-play)
[Description]
Preferrably not revive a Crewmate, but instead, has more Doctor specific tasks, (e.g take blood sample from any Player , which also prompts that Player that a blood sample was taken from them). Anything that would bring back a dead crew member would surely be op, so let's forget about that.
☆Engineer/Mechanic (Role-play)
[Description]
Engineers and Mechanics can detect whether a Task was sabotaged (with regards to the Task Sabotage mechanic). They also have more Engineer/Mechanic specific tasks.
☆Detective (Detection Role)
[Description]
Yes they can do forensics and thorough investigation from where the body was found or reported, such as footprint or blood trail from the previous or current round, they have to unlock a number of clues before detecting the impostors.
☆Guard/Security (Role-play + Detection Role)
[Description]
They can subdue a specific crewmate until emergency meeting or a body report, this ability is only limited and can only be executed during the meeting and voting phase (e.g they have a "Subdue" button on their tablets). They can handcuff Crewmates to prevent any killing, this also means that Crewmate cannot execute any task since they were hand-cuffed.
