Execution of the idea is what makes something an adventure game or not. Maybe have someone ask for her to find something specific for them. Then maybe she has to find her way to it past some kind of traps or creatures. Maybe she has to find something for someone else along the way. Maybe she learns that she doesn't want to deal with the original person any more and needs to find a way out of the issue.

There are a lot of possibilities for making such an idea into an adventure game. Of course you should create your own character instead of actually using Rey...

I never said I was going to use Rey as my character, I was just asking about the storyline; in fact, I'm not settling with that idea...but thank you so much for the extra info!

I wasn't sure since there was someone who asked about using LucsasArts graphics. But wanted to make sure.

You're welcome. Even if you don't use the idea, hopefully the information can at least help you and/or someone else.

Yeah, it would be copyright to use Rey or LucasArts graphics, unless you have permission. But just to verify, it's fine to get stuff from platforms like free3d.com, mixamo, and OpenGameArt?

Yeah, any website or resource with the proper license or that you paid for the rights to use works as long as you follow whatever the license says.
