What distro + version are you running? Also, it would be really helpful if you could take a screenshot of the problem.
My distro is Lubuntu 19.10, now the screenshot I can't take since vn doesn't start and no warning appears

It seems to be working fine on a fresh install:
If you don't mind, could you please:1. Open the terminal (by default, Ctrl+Alt+T)2. Navigate to the game directory, 9-22-0.4.0-pc3. Run: ./9-22.sh4. See whether it says anything
