Were you able to find a way around it?

(1 edit)

Unfortunately, not yet.
I have discovered that if you launch the game without steam VR running I see a brief flash of the launch logo. but as soon as Steam initializes Attack on Quest stops responding.

As a note, Im running with an OG HTC Vive. I don't think that would affect anything because my Vive and the Index that I saw Cerberus Arms using *Should* run the same

I'm on an Index and having the same problem, so I'm guessing it's not the headset. Gonna keep screwing around with it to see if I can get it working. Already tried launching with OpenComposite but just got libOVR errors.

As far as I can tell it looks like a shader issue causing a Unity crash. Found this in the log In AppData\LocalLow\AoQ\AttackOnQuest:

WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Hidden/Nature/Terrain/Utilities' - All passes removed
WARNING: Shader Did you use #pragma only_renderers and omit this platform?
ERROR: Shader Hidden/Nature/Terrain/Utilities shader is not supported on this GPU (none of subshaders/fallbacks are suitable)

Was able to fix it! They've got instructions in a FAQ channel on their Discord page:

- have oculus software running
- have SteamVR running
- run revive as administrator
- right-click on the Revive icon Task Button (by the time / date) and select "Inject..." and select to Unity Attack on Quest build

So I'm a bit confused on how to get it to work, I've installed the oculus software and downloaded the game :/ I'm confused on what to do next.

Edit: I have a HTC Vive
