Hit the A button, or Z if you’re playing in browser, to start the game, and then continue to hit the a button to “roll” your number.
To be more specific and less mysterious, it’s purely random. It’s based on a game I play with dice used in tabletop games, where you try to hit the highest value on the dice, then move up to the next dice with a higher value. If you fail to hit the highest value you go down a dice. It’s all raw luck with no real game to it, just a fun little project.
