Tested v.1.2 on Neogeo AES Japanese with NeoSD Pro. The game resets a bit later after second power up on level 1.

Thanks a lot for the report ! A few questions:
1. Which round(s)? Does it happen in round 1 too, or only from a given round?
2. What exactly happens to the background: does it turn black, freeze, or stay partly drawn? Are the characters (hero, enemies, boss) still visible?
3. Does the background come back later (after the boss fight, or at the next round), or does it stay broken until the end of the game?
4. Does it happen every time you skip the power-ups, and never when you collect them normally?
5. Which version did you burn (file name / version shown on the information screen at start-up)?
6. Do other CD-R games run fine on your console?
