What system are you running? I made the whole thing on a gaming laptop so it doesn't require massive processing power, but I'm not sure what the minimum specs are yet.
In saying that, I spent last week optimizing a lot of assets, saving about 900MB in file size, so hopefully the next update will run better for you :)
