Oh wow...
I'm getting SERIOUS Ultima 4 vibes, but genuinely more open-ended. Like, as much of a lnadmark title as that game was, I HATE being forced to be a good person simply bc that's the game's story. I mean, I get 'why' it happened, damn ancient Karens, but still, the real joy of alignments is deciding how much of a hero or douchebag you wanna be.... So, yeah, not bad.
Plus, I guess... I wanna be a hero on my own terms... Too much virtue ain't for me.... But I do have some, so being able to play in a way that reflects that is kinda the ideal, I guess.
I do kinda wish I could go full window mode in this, but VX.
Hm...
I"m acutally amazed how many great indie RPGs were made in VX/VX Ace....
