I really enjoyed the straightforward idea of just making the player travel back home, and the Aseprite visuals give it a nice handmade style. The BeepBox music also fits the small scale atmosphere well, and it’s impressive that you managed to finish a complete playable experience in around 56 hours.
For the next version, I’d love to see the journey expanded with more obstacles, enemies, additional areas, and more interaction along the way. Some stronger player feedback would also help make actions and progression clearer. The core is already there, so adding more gameplay around it could make the trip home much more engaging.
