I also run Linux and have no steam account.
- I tried with Lutris, but no luck.
- could start the game in CLi with wine Faulty\ Apprentice.exe, but clicking “New Game” did not work. – when closing the game the error message wine32:i386 missing. Installed that but then could not start at all because of “wine: could not load kernel32.dll, status c0000135”
- installed Bottles via Flatpak. sometimes is works most of the time it does not.
- so for me renpy with the lib for python3-linux works great. But unity based games not. :(
