Maybe it had something to do with the rest of Walter's friends? Maybe an accident?( because there is a dream on the first day I think? that is about where Walter got the pendant) and someone said " You better be up again"( i don't know if this is exactly what is said there) on the promise that they made.(It looks like Walter and that Friend of his made the promise in the hospital).

I'm pretty sure that incident has something to deal with his twin if I remember properly (spoiler alert) think gil mentioned something about he saw the other one attending Highwell University and that he used to be in the high school that he was working in. Then I think gil mentioned something about walter twin about some type of accident happen but the way how he said it makes it sound like Walter twin could be dead I may have to reread the part again but it's too early in the game to really decide anything so we should pretty much wait for the next update but man the suspense is killing me 😁
