im loving these little updates in this thread. parallax backgrounds are so much more fun than tilesets imo, they just feel more like a painting than a math puzzle T_T i love the song too! i gotta get into doechii's stuff. the production is scratching my brain really nicely
exactly, i love seeing my characters wandering around a little painting as an environment; it's very cute. i like also that with parallax BGs i can make the spaces look more homey and cluttered and lived-in than with tilesets, where everything is very spaced out and kinda empty-looking due to the grid.
