It's hard to say why Joiplay isn't working.
As far as I understand, you need to use the version that's compatible with the game engine.
Since we're using Godot 4.4.1, try using the “Godot 4.3 Plugin” version of Joiplay.
If it still doesn't work, please wait for future updates. We'll try to add support for the Android version.
