You could actually get an Unqiue equipment on the road or at the Void Realm's Nexus Heaven final keeper (Forgot the name but its probably Taotie). (Pangu gifts you his Unique Robe after beating the last keeper)
Also, in the Samsara River, the last keeper gifts you a Unique Technique after beating them but you could make yourself a Unique Technique right at your Abode's Library.
