Right now, there's no way to avoid both attacks - you just have to heal through them afterward. The 2-turn block system is already ready, and skills like that will definitely be coming in future updates.
Glad to hear there's a two-turner coming. Those two-turn attacks were the primary reason for my losses of permanent health.
