The games are different from gameplay perspective, it's clear if you play them. Also, in the credits all the people involved are mentioned.
I'd say it's not cool to think that all the people are dumb or something. If they subscribe - maybe they like what they get or just want to support the development. So don't worry about others, worry about yourself.
