It really pisses me off how certain gems that deserve worldwide fame remain hidden from humanity. I literally discovered this game by watching a video of a guy clicking a button to download a random file from the Internet Archive; one of them happened to be aXieball 2004, and that—and only that—is how I found out about BALAXIE on this page. It is one of the best video games I have ever played; the music is an absolute masterpiece, and the style, graphics, and character are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. This game moves me like no other; it’s not just a rolling ball, but the very essence of the concept of a "video game" embodied in the form of a rolling ball. Kudos and my heartfelt best wishes to everyone who created and contributed to this project—you deserve much more recognition. I hope this review (perhaps a bit too long) conveys just how much I appreciate this game. Now I just need to figure out if I’m the only one who truly appreciates it; I’m going to do everything I can to get my friends to play it.
