For myself in particular, given my "contribution" to the game, it was interesting to see what Goddess Maker's Allia, Celine, and Freda characters would look like when run into an AI generation model that transforms them in stages based on their first form.

Freda in particular is amusing because she was not intended to keep her shrimp form as she ascends, but rather be all sexy and busty in a crime boss kimono, paralleling somewhat to her younger sister, Marissa’s, body.

Is not that deep dawg.

I can recommend you actual books if you wanna read or when it comes to indie video games with rich story check out Fear and hunger, Blasphemous , Darkest dungeons , Pathologic and the list goes on. ( No Ai included)

If we're talking Goddess Maker proper, not OutGrow, the fan mod of Goddess Maker that uses AI Art assets, then yeah, there's plenty of Berserk-inspirations, though I'm not a big fan of the visual ”vulgar to disgust someone" elements; instead, I like to include the "existential struggle against the ever-omnipotent being elements,” focusing both on a personal will-to-power as well as a will-to-power coming from someone in opposition to the player.

Nevertheless, there is plenty of Kafkaesque nightmare fuel planned.
