this game was bad not gonna lie and realistically speaking its severely overhyped the shading is bad, the voice acting is bad and does not feel needed, the story is predictable and not that good anyways also i feel like the creator does not know the difference between a circus and a carnival also Jesters arent really part of circuses so im confused as to why theres a jester there when theres other circus themed roles he could have been given instead also choosing he/him and being called "my lord" was extremely cringe and honestly while yes it is the opposite of "my lady" i feel like saying "my dear" would have been better sounding and maybe cuter also the characters feel bland even the 2 that you mostly interact with this could have been a good game but there are way more flaws in this than good things the plot could have been so much better written but i applaud the try though there was effort put into the game but at the same time it doesnt like much
just because the guy is putting time and effort doesnt mean it’s good I can literally put effort into baking a cake and have it come out bad and I won’t expect people to praise me for putting effort I’ll expect them to tell me why it’s bad, i left an honest review im not gonna sugarcoat it and blindly praise the game if its bad
Remember everyone; criticism is explaining things that could be improved about something! Being rude is saying 'wow this sucks'
Also remember that this is a fictional game, and therefore, the rules of real life do not apply! After all, you don't see others going about, explaining how bad Dragon Ball Z or Pokémon is because it simply 'isn't realistic', now, do you? Because it isn't. And before you get on my case about that bit again, there are also no plague doctors in either a carnival or a circus, and yet, Doctor is there. Calling the game bad is an insult to the creator who worked hard on it. And if you care at all, I believe using the pronouns 'they/them' makes the characters call you 'my dear'. People have different perspectives on what is 'Cringe' and 'not cringe', so I won't use that against you. Also, people have different perspectives in general, like how many of us believe you were being rude here. Normal criticism wouldn't contain half of the wording you chose to write. Please just be more careful on how you give criticism in the future.
saying the game is bad does not equal being rude or insulting and I’m so so sorry I forgot to mention 1 damn character and I need you to read again because I said that I don’t think the creator knows the difference between a circus and a carnival and like I said I could work on something as well but working hard does not equal being immune to negative reviews and my bad I’m a guy and my friend who also played the game is a girl so neither of us picked the they/them option in the pronouns if you genuinely think I’m rude and whoever thinks calling some bad is rude should genuinely hop off the internet I could say “woah this was a bad meal the sauce was watery and bland” to a chef and the chef would just take the criticism because it’s all about improving I can’t just babysit and be like “excuse me this was yucky but you tried” to a person you have to point out whats bad and in a vn game sense I can’t just point out a way to change a mistake because it’s not my game pointing a bad thing in a sense to improve is not a rude thing saying that also me calling the characters bland is somehow rude just shows you’re immature and can’t handle when your favorite game is being criticised DO I NEED TO MAKE MORE POINTS
My bad, Im genuinely trying to be helpful. Personally, I believe that you were, and still are, being very rude. I pointed out the 'they them' because you thought the 'My Lord' thing was cringe. I feel like you just need to calm down and move on. Once again, criticism and being downright rude are different, just as you are being rude right now. I HAVE seen other genuine criticism for the game and the creator, and even have some for them too, such as giving some of the other characters more screentime and amping up the horror a bit more would do wonders. Before you continue to try and tell me this is me 'forcing you to try and like the game' or something, I'm more just trying to give you advice. I don't care if you do not like the game, after all, what's a world where everybody likes the same things?
