Huh. Rosario fan-game... Unexpected. It’s not exactly a universe I would have expected to see a h-game based on... but still, I’m pleasantly surprised. The manga is good—a rare case where the genre evolved from standard ecchi into a solid seinen action series that actually developed the protagonist, too. Just imagine if, at the end of the first manga arc, the MC's mother had seen her son's body—covered in scars—instead of a crowd of girls running away. Quite the reminder of what the MC had been through, right? And that was just a relatively quiet year, confined to a single academy and one field trip. As for what happened next... well, if you know, you know.
A special shout-out to the siren girl. The fact that this quiet type is so powerful—capable of seriously slowing down... you-know-WHAT — is, damn it, absolutely brilliant. Never before have the words "I will be your adversary" been written with such a powerful threat.
(Also, during this beach arc, those scars of his caught the eye again—even attracting the attention of human beauties. That’s what it means to have truly matured into a man; he doesn't even have to try to pick up girls.)
However, I’ve heard the anime is a total female ass. Nothing but fanservice for the sake of fanservice, and largely non-canon to boot. It happens. "Princess Resurrection", for instance, was completely butchered by censorship—though the OVAs seem to be much better and uncensored. Probably...
