Shapes must lose all their hp to be destroyed. You can, of course, upgrade your damage in the shop to destroy then faster before they "escape".
You can upgrade shapes in the "better shapes" shop, which will add new types of shapes that are stronger but give more money and exp.
The fact that you didn't manage to destroy a shape is because you probably should have improved your damage...
Hey there, thanks for the reply. I made a mistake in my comment. I was able to destroy several shapes and upgrade my damage. It's just that some I felt I should've destroyed, weren't destroyed and they would pass with very little HP, but some I could destroy in like 4 clicks. I could've been clicking in the wrong spot, so it could be my issue.
The number of health points for each shape is random within the limits set for that shape. This means that the number of health points for a red square can range from 5 to 10 HP, whilst, for example, for a circle it can range from 30 to 50.
There’s also a minor bug: if a shape’s health is less than 1 but greater than zero, the health bar will magically return to full, but this has no impact on gameplay.
