  • Found out about this project yesterday while searching up some old "alpha" trailers of FFT as research for the narrative for my own FFT-like project and absolutely fell in love with what your team did here! Downloaded the demo on your Itch.io and I've been combing through it for a bit today and while there's a bit of jank (as to be expected of such a large scale cancelled project) like saves not loading properly or the concept of putting an enemy capable of summoning a vampire wolf on the second level of the game, there is still, frankly, an absolutely RIDCULOUS amount of heart in this!? I made a reddit post linking back to the demo video on Youtube because I really think that this sorta thing deserves to be celebrated, even if in post-mortem, simply bc it's clear how much work you all put into this! Is there anyway to contact you in an offical capacity? I wouldn't be any real help in getting this finished, per se, but as one aspiring storyteller and fan of FFT/LUCT to another, I would LOVE to compare narrative/thematic notes and just pick your brain about the development process that went on! This seems like it would've been the best parts of FFT and LUCT, and it's a god damn shame that it's been deemed as infeasible to finish bc God knows Square's never gonna give us anything half as badass as this ever again, sigh

First off, thanks so much! I'm glad the hard work came through, even though the build is indeed full of jank. (I thought save/load was working in this build though >< I might need to upload a fixed version...)

As for contact info: my public dev contact is squeakmousegamedev@gmail.com. Feel free to hit me up! Happy to hop on a Discord call or something as well.
