Honestly, blaming university exams doesn’t hold up anymore. We are well into 2026, and since the v0.1.0a drop in late 2024, two full winter breaks and a summer vacation have already passed.
Even with a heavy academic workload, going almost two years without releasing a single minor update or playable progress—all while Patreon billing remains active—is unreasonable. University breaks offer plenty of time to push at least some meaningful progress if the project is actually being worked on.
At this point, calling it a "busy schedule" feels like a stretch. The project is practically frozen, and the frustration from the community is completely justified. Hopefully, we see something real by December, but holding out hope feels naive right now.
