I really liked how you implemented it. The atmosphere is fantastic, what a great visual novel. Honestly, I’m in love with the ambiance. If I could make one suggestion, though: maybe adding a subtle background melody, something in the vein of Mac DeMarco, would be incredible (at least from my perspective). It would really enhance the way your visual novel feels.

That's so nice to read! I try my best to create a nice ambience in my little visual novels and knowing that other people were able to feel that is very satisfying.
I chose to not have any background music so we could just focus on the sounds of the ocean during the conversation with Thomas, but I like your idea and can see how a melody in that style would be very cozy!
