beautiful, so beautiful.. the dedication to the water theme in prose, in world-building and in constantly moving interpersonal dynamics, the honesty with which jealousy, selfishness, love and care are explored, the multitudes these characters contain.. the art is gorgeous and the use of multimedia elements is brilliant, the sounds and the music and the UI are all perfect and pulled me in entirely, I couldn’t stop playing until it was over.
the opening is very strong and pairs with the ending perfectly. some moments reminded me of Haibane Renmei in the best way possible but even those are distinctly Angel Diaclasis.
it’s a silly personal thing but I always felt deep connection with water and I used to take baths very often, but for many years now I keep renting places without bathtubs. I miss submerging in the water so much. those were the moments of my greatest connection and disconnection with my body. sometimes I stayed for too long until the water was cold and I couldn’t get out despite not liking it anymore, but the joy of being in a scolding hot full bathtub is unparalleled. this game made me feel the closest thing I’ve felt to those experiences in a while. thank you <3
