If your wondering if you need to finish echo before playing this, I read Arches before I even found out about Echo so I say it does matter little in context but its really just like a stand alone story. BTW THIS STORY RECKED ME... it was genuinely one of the best visual novels I have ever played and probably left a permanent mark for me 😭 It just hurts to think about the characters and all their struggles i wanna say more but i don't wanna spoil... But if your thinking of reading this PLEASE DO.
