This game is so good! The animations, the voice acting, the story line, the music, everything is just amazing!
I usually dont write long reviews/analytics like this but this game is just too good for me not to.
spoiler alert!!! for my review: (pls excuse my grammar english isnt my first language)
I did Isaac's route first because he's honestly my type haha.. let's just say I was in for a roller coaster of emotions after his ending </3 Trauma aside, his route was so fun to play. What got me interested in him was his hobbies and personality (his looks too ofc). First let's talk about his drawings, are the drawings supposed to be us/MC? Because there's 2 girl drawings there, a boy, and a couple. I might just be over analyzing things but please do tell if the drawings are significant to the later stories! Also I noticed a drawing that looks like Yamikage but in a cookie run art style lol, I honestly thought it was Manju Cookie at first before meeting Yami.
Next I'd like to talk about his performance. He defends his love for waltz to us when he invites us to his performance. Is this also intentional? As far as I know, waltz is the most romantic/intimate dance performed by pairs. I also think it means to act with confidence or to be carefree or arrogant (please correct me if im wrong) which Isaac clearly does not possess. In his performance he expresses his longing for wanting more, to be more. His performance also shows his yearning for MC and how deeply he cares about them. I think it's beautiful how much you can see his affection and care for the MC not only in his actions but also with words. I absolutely adore how much he knows MC. Him always buying MC food because he knows they always skip meals, him not knowing what MC would order because he knows they order a different thing every single time but still manages to narrow it down to smaller options meaning he still knows what MC likes. Gosh, Isaac is just so adorable T_T More of him next update pretty please creator? (•́ ᴖ •̀)
Another thing I'd like to talk about is the amazing music! The music used capures Isaac's longing so well! His performance, the music playing in the radio while we're in his car, and the music the street musicians played (my favorite btw its so catchy). Everything about Isaac's route is just so lovely to me, well.. except the ending /j Everything is just so well written it awes me— from the character's lore to the breaking of 4th wall, and most importanly: the cats!!! I really love the cat drawings from the beggining of the game and the cat given to us by the faceless guy lolll they're so cute
Sorry for the long ramble about Isaac,,,, I love Yami too I promise!!! I personally just prefer slowburns and friends to lovers hehe ^^ Wishing to discover more lore about them both and hopefully at least one happy ending for each (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ I really loved and enjoyed playing the game, can't wait for future updates <3 Kudos to the creator and the team!
