I've been testing this gem. I absolutely love all the minigames and the battles. So I've gone HARD on story and left Yuna by the wayside xD(honestly, I played the touching minigame and when I saw the very limited time window I gave up. Now I only do it if there's an easy peep quest)
Which brings me to the double battles in the countryside. The combos with the stunners, like the sharpshooter and the iron maiden can get BRUTAL. I had about 1100 stamina, and they stunlocked me until I had 450, and I got one shot in before I was stunlocked again till I passed out. This happened with both types. The Iron Maiden was a little more lenient with her special skills. I do realize I can discourage the use of special skills, but I'm bringing this to your attention in case it wasn't your intention to make them quite so OP. I will retry with the enrage tactic, and see how it does.
Edit: Yeah, turns out I just needed to use my special attack and blocking their special attacks more often... AND that I'm an unobservant dummie who can't read :) lol
Duuuuude! Thank you! I just realized this today before seeing this. I thought that was like where I swap upgrades when I find them... until I clicked on one and saw the upgrade feature. I maxed everything out at once... cus.... I never touched it and I've beaten the countryside like 5 times for monies, lol
