This game just exudes atmosphere! Several times I fiddled with to get the ball over a hump only to 5 seconds later think, "oh wait, i should have...". The game doesn't hit you with a lot of text but you can just look at Bert in his world and you know--Bert has some stories to tell if he spoke haha.
