This game is so long with so much going on that I'm quite daunted by having to write review for it.

However I do like it and I gave it 5 stars. I think I have played for about 7 hours. It does seem to get hard later, but I won't say where I am. Lots of effort into making a substantial world to explore. I like that you can customize your character's stats and experiment with different builds.

The graphics are great for the game boy, many areas look the same but of course memory is limited.

The encounter rate is absurdly high by modern standards but that is par for the course in this kind of game too. It might have been nicer to just have the encounter rate be a bit lower instead of giving every area with random encounters an unlockable route around it.

The story seems to pull a lot of inspiration from Undertale, but of course there was a reason why that game's story was good and it pulled a lot of inspiration from other games in the first place.

I really like the sound effects and music, but there aren't a lot of different themes and they are pretty short, again, memory limitations I guess.

Thanks for the review.

I have been a little bit concerned about the encounter rate. I've tweaked it many times to try and make it feel right. There is a way to permanently lower the encounter rate but it's something of a secret. I guess I could work on making that secret a little more known within the game.

I'll admit that the music is less so due to memory limitations and just more so just me getting a little overwhelmed with composing it all on top of everything else. But I agree. There could be more to it.

I found it, but at the time I needed the money. Now I'm so rich I have no need to fight regular enemies except for experience.
