A wonderfully precise detective-puzzle hook. The brown-and-gold case-file cover is elegant, and a screenshot of the notebook or suspect registry would help show how the deduction actually works on screen.
It is a cool idea with strong music and a distinct atmosphere. I would carry that same mood into the itch page so the entire presentation feels cohesive.
The UI needs another focused pass. It currently has some recognizable AI-generated patterns, but choosing a few consistent stylistic rules could make it feel intentional without requiring anything elaborate. Since this is primarily a text-based game, the interface effectively is the artwork, so investing time there would have an outsized impact.
I would also review the colors for accessibility. A monochromatic brown-and-gold palette can look great, but yellow on yellow lacks contrast, and the current green does not read clearly against the yellow. Make sure every important label and interaction remains immediately legible.
Finally, I took far too long to discover how to enable the music. I would leave it on by default and let players mute it if needed. I played most of the game without one of its strongest elements, which was unfortunate because the music adds so much to the experience.
If you have five minutes, try BEAT BAES and smash through a few chaotic, physics-driven mech battles. Quick reactions through the form help me sharpen the game.
