First, my thoughts on what I played so far (I stopped in the prologue with plans to come back on full release.)
I adore the entire cast. It's all well written and every character is very charming, especially Qui and Tamarack! It's definitely very slow-paced, lingering in scenes to really immerse in the moment, which can make my brain itch a little, but is far from a problem, and for most players it's probably a boon (I just have focus struggles.)
Now the other thing I noticed, which I'm saying with absolute love:
There's GOT to be at least one autistic / nuerodivergent member of the writing team because all the kids are reading intensely as nuerodivergent (coming from an AuDHD person), except maybe the rich boy (who's name I forgot orz) - and that's not even mentioning Cove being canonically diagnosed autistic in the first game! Even more with the first game, because plenty of the first cast didn't make me think "that's a nuerodivergent kid right there."
And I'm saying this from just the impression I got without even finishing the prologue (I didn't want to reach the end of what's out and then wait to continue, especially when I already had plans to replay the first one like 3 more times XD)
