I love this mod, really good work. It's great to be able to graze cattle and sheep together.

Couple of suggestions / things that I've noticed:

  • The freeform pasture, and the animals in it, apear in the base game husbandry menu, but RLRM doesn't see them - they disappear from the animal inventory when you click on  "Manage Animals".
  • It would be good to be able to see the % effectiveness of the "ground forage" (or even better, for the player to be able to set the effectiveness themselves).

Many thanks for the suggestions.

I'll have a look at the RLRM Manage Animals menu.  There's a lot going on under the hood to force Giants into believing this is a husbnadry in order to show the animals, and have them counted as a £ asset in the Finance Mod.  RLRM Likely only sees real husbandries and will likely need Ritter to be involved.  I'll take a nother look at it though.

I'll make the ground forage clearer - but it counts 100% towards productivity, just as grass would in a hubandry pasture.  I'm looking to make that more detailed however with a mod in progress that will introduce different food and feeding requirements

I would suggest a feed effectiveness ranking similar to the following:

  1. TMR - 100%
  2. Grass (grazed or fresh cut)/ silage / hay + concentrates - 85-90%
  3. Grass (grazed or fresh cut) / hay / silage alone - 75 - 80%
  4. Meadow grass (i.e. lower quality pasture, not fertilised or improved) - 60%

Various feed trials / research would indicate that TMR fed cows are higher yielding than those fed grass alone or fed grass + concentrates (even when well managed pasture systems are considered).

Have to disagree, cows on good grass will always out milk on feed, hence why spring brings a flux in milk and drops the price on the market
