I haven't played that many autobattlers, but this one seems pretty fun. I played the introductory singleplayer run, as well as the explosive-based one and the blood temple.

+ Everything seems really polished, the UI works flawlessly and the graphics work quite well

+ The art style was fun and cartoony, sets the tone of comedic violence pretty well.

+ Seeing the unreal engine logo as I was booting up the game filled my heart with terror at the expected slideshow, but surprisingly the game ran flawlessly.

+ Messing around with the character builds was fun, trying to come up with overpowered combos and seeing them work is pretty entertaining.

+ Most hats had pretty interesting effects, and weren't just +3% damage of whatever

+ Difficulty seemed pretty fair, when I lost I felt like I could've won with better decisions

- After playing for a bit, the variety of weapons and hats starts to seem like it's not enough, with mostly repeats showing up in the stores. With buildcrafting being a strength of this game, more variety could only help.

- The menu for the singleplayer campaigns says you can unlock new items by beating them, but the menu for doing that doesn't seem to work, or possibly that feature isn't implemented yet.

- All of the singleplayer challenges are marked as completed by default, which I think is a bug

- Sometimes the display of the cost of an item can block out the text on longer item descriptions

Thanks for the feedback. We are addressing all the negatives that you mentioned. All of that should be fixed in the demo build.

You are correct, progression should not be unlocked from the beginning. That was a bug. We have already fixed it, we just need to update the itch.io build.
