I went through the files today and I think everything is basically ready on the translation side. There were only two lines that hadn't been translated, so I did a bit of research myself and I think I managed to find good Indonesian translations for both of them. I'll still make sure they make sense in context once everything is inside the game.

I'm now working on putting the localization directly into the game, and once the Indonesian version is implemented I'll send you a test build so you can check everything in-game, especially any text that overflows or sounds unnatural in context.

Also, something pretty crazy happened today — I don't know if you know him, but Kubz Scouts played The Delivery Guy in his latest video, which honestly made me really happy.

That actually made me want to ask you something, since you know the Indonesian gaming scene much better than I do.

I'd really love to somehow get The Delivery Guy in front of Windah Basudara. I feel like this kind of short weird indie horror game could fit his channel really well, especially once the official Indonesian translation is in the game.

Do you know what the best way would be to approach him or submit a game to him? Maybe a specific email, Discord, community, social media account, or some other way Indonesian indie developers usually get their games noticed by him?

I really don't want to spam him, I just want to give the game the best possible chance of reaching him.

And if there are any other Indonesian YouTubers or streamers you think would be a great fit for the game, I'd love to hear your recommendations too!

Also, for the Indonesian test build, would you be okay with moving over to Discord? I think it would be much easier there to send you the build, screenshots, and any little fixes we might need to go through together.

Happy to help with the Windah question. Some context first, because I think the opportunity here is bigger than you might realise.

Indonesia has one of the largest gaming audiences in the world, and YouTube is absolutely the centre of it here. Indie horror in particular does incredibly well, short, weird, atmospheric games are basically the bread and butter of the biggest Indonesian gaming channels. A game like The Delivery Guy fits that space almost perfectly.

Windah Basudara is the biggest Indonesian gaming YouTuber right now, and his community is genuinely massive. His Discord server has close to a million members. That's the best route in, I think.

How I'd approach it: join the Discord and look for the indie game role or channel. Servers that size usually have a dedicated space for devs to submit games, and going through the proper channel is far better received than DMing or tagging him repeatedly. Grab the role, post there once, and let it sit.

When you post, keep it short and make it easy to say yes to:

- One line on what the game is and how long it takes to finish

- A free key or the itch link

- Mention the official Indonesian translation prominently. That's your real hook very few small indie horror games ship with proper Indonesian, and it's a genuine reason for an Indonesian channel to pick yours over the hundreds of others in their inbox

- A short clip or GIF if you have one

You're right not to want to spam that instinct is correct here. One good post in the right place beats ten messages everywhere else.

Other channels worth trying: MiawAug is probably your strongest second option. He's built his whole channel around indie horror playthroughs and has a huge audience, so The Delivery Guy is squarely his kind of thing. Reza Arap and Ericko Lim are also worth a look, though horror is less of their core focus.

Honestly, I'd send it to a few of them rather than betting everything on Windah. The mid-size horror channels here often pick things up faster, and once a game starts circulating in that scene it tends to travel upward on its own.

Happy to help write the Indonesian version of the pitch if that would be useful might land better coming across as written by someone local.

Just added you on Discord so it'll be easier to send the Indonesian test build and go through any translation/UI issues together.

And thanks again for all the advice about Windah and the Indonesian scene — that was genuinely really useful. I definitely want to try the Discord route you suggested once the Indonesian update is ready.

Also, I'd absolutely love your help with the Indonesian version of the pitch when we get to that!
