SCP-3008-L appears as an office desk lamp whose light output intermittently synchronizes with the user’s eye movements. In controlled interviews, it induces persuasive, self-reinforcing compulsion: subjects report "seeing" themselves as a company director with various employees reporting the state of lamp business. SCP-3008-L commands the victim to begin ordering and commanding production of lighting devices and establish logistics to achieve global illumination of the world its currently in. Upon succeeding, it erases victim's memories, preparing to conquer the next world.
