Sorry I can't support us, but the game looks amazing, I will be attentive.

Are you gonna add all the items, shrines, famous locations, armor, etc

Will you also add custom items that you made to make the game unique

Also, will you inclued all the physics such as rolling balls from the actual game

i was going to add a boomerang in the next version. What do you mean by proper boomerang physics?

I would assume he meant throwing it and having it go in a sort of loop type of motion and come back to you as a real boomerang would, something that none of the top down zelda games captured

Have you thought of implementing boss-fights? Maybe at the end of every 'dungeon' there is a stronger type of enemy that drops a special item (iron sledgehammer, boomerang (<?!) and more)... I would also be happy with at least one final boss, that would give a feeling of conclusion I think

Although the game is very short, at least the demo is, I really enjoyed the mechanics! Especially the fire mechanic and the monster that drops a cool item were the things that fiscinated me! Can you implement more of the latter in v.2? Maybe this can be beneficial for possible boss-fights? Anyway keep it up and I am looking forward to upcoming versions

I found a bug in the game. When you light a tree with your burning sword and then open your inventory the tree remains red but stops burning. If you want to burn it you have to light it again.

I found the bug in version 1.3 of the game.

HI, I've been really enjoying this game recently, and i have done a playthrough and i have done everything there is to do, broke all rocks, all trees,killed all enimies,ETC... and in doing so i found a glitch in the second dungeon, in the rock in the middle of the room were the bow is located. you can just walk through the bottom right rock.and your there to cheat the second dungeon with no problems.

I recorded a quick video of your demo, it's really fun! can't wait to see how it progresses!

There isn't a mac version yet, although Wine might work!

So, I'm guessing that the references to "dungeons" aren't like the dungeon entrances in OG The Legend of Zelda, i.e. staircases revealed/found on the screen. Is it just referring to the different areas of the map?

so maybe i'm an idiot and I'm missing something blatantly obvious, but can you get past the area south of the desert where the tiles looks like it says "wip" or is that the extent of the demo as of right now? BTW Winterdrake AMAZING JOB! I've been having a blast playing through these areas, however I'd agree with whom ever said it but having some kind of check point/save option at a camp fire would be great. Also if possible, you should totally include some kind of perfect guard or deflecting/knock back/stagger effect to the shield... that would be awesome! Again amazing job dude! best fan game I've played in a while, can't wait for the final version!!

ohhh, duh.. that makes so much sense lol. well I'll be waiting ainxiously for the next update, while waiting for BOTW hard mode haha.

Are there any spoilers for botw? i havent gotten a chance to play botw yet and i want my expreince to be new fresh and awesome.

Love this! However, maybe add a system where you can save at fires? That way you have to store up flint to light fires. Then,after you save, the fires go out, so you have to use the flint wisely. If you do that, maybe make the flint a bit rarer? Just an idea!

that's a very cool idea, although what I was planning to do was have on- demand saving without restriction

Hitting the jumping spidery mobs doesn't totally stop their forward momentum, so they can jump at you then get hit by a sword but still fly into you...

Found another bug where trees can fall through the rocks, leaving a piece of wood in the starting cave... not sure if i explained that properly

you did! That is fixed in the next version, don't worry

More health would be nice, maybe a heal zone at the start. I killed all the enemies and was working on cutting all grass, breaking all rocks etc. and I keep touching fire and now i'm almost dead but am out of healing items...

When you combine the ability to run with the ability to blow fire all over the place with the leaf... it was only a matter of time :P

Two issues with bow/arrows: Can't seem to pick up arrows that are dropped by mobs. If you get both bows, you can drop one and pick it up repeatedly to get infinite arrows.

I'm aware of that one! It's fixed in the next version

Hahaha... just realized you can light the Korok Leaf on fire and use it as a fire rod for 7 seconds. I had so much fun with this that I accidentally killed myself... three times...

Is the game going to be paid after some time because lots of people dont have breath of the wild and this will be a good free version for them

Breath of the NES will always be free, but eventually I'd like to make a spin off that's bigger and better, with original graphics/characters, which would be paid.

Use wine. Its basically a windows converter.

Help plz, my game runs at 25 fps max, but it's not st the framerate, the entire game is super slow... I can run much more demanding games at better framerate and/or without slowdown like this. Can someone help me figure out what's wrong?

In the next update that drake will post the game will be running at 60 fps.

Amazing work in such a short space of time dude. Really looking forward to seeing where you take this! Can we have a sprint function though? Link moves so slow! Eithe that or my weak-ass latop can't run it properly lol.

there's a Sprint item in the lost woods! Also, if you're getting less than 60fps, that's part of why. Next version has better optimization

Ah right, I didnt get that far to be honest. I feel like I need to dig out by USB SNES controller to really get stuck in! And yeh, I'll keep that in mind, looking forward to future versions :)

Okay, so here are my thoughts and possible additions.

1: I love this game, I find it to be extremely fun + burning down the main forest is really entertaining.

2: I would absolutely love it if this game had save states that I could boot up and keep. Not to mention that if I want to put the game down, I wouldn't have to travel to the starting cave.

3: Link is very slow. Whether this is intentional or not is something I don't know.

4: I would like to thank you for making this game. You bring joy to me who doesn't have the money to buy a switch or BoTW.

My first hour was very fun, please keep updating this! :D

I Found A Bug that wont let me go down with s but if i hit d it will make me go side-down

what version are you using?

This was fixed in the 1.1 update. If you're using 1.0, I'd recommend using 1.3.

I did find a bug where sometimes ghosts will be stuck in a position while on an object. Is this a bug or is it part of the programming? And I know you got a ton of FPS reports but mine is like everyone else's. At least most of everyone's. A great game though. With a lot of development and some sprite changes, this could be a phenomenal fangame to the Zelda universe. Honestly really happy with the work. I'd be happy to help if you need anything. I'm working on my programming skills but, I will admit I'm not the best at it. But a great game though. If you need support just contact me. I'll be supporting this game all the way up. :)
