I'm playing the window's version and the game is in a permanent twilight. It's hard to see anything and the world only gets brighter when standing next to the towers or in the forest.
I'm working on a fix, for now try switching resolutions as well as fullscreen/windowed. That seems to be a temporary fix for some people
