Nice work on the game!

First, some constructive feedback: I think the game could've had better UX. For example I didn't know I had to reload the gun manually at first, I just assumed I had no bullets LOL. Also, I feel the map was too large and empty. The mariner/boat area was easy to miss. I would have had put it nearer to the spawn point and make it obvious that that was the goal from the get-go.  Lastly, it's a shooting game, make the bullets huge! Highly recommend you check out Vlambeer's talk "The Art of Screenshake." It's still pretty relevant 11 years in.

Now to the good bits: nice work on the pixel art and the Hotline Miami vibe you got goin. Props for making everything from scratch! Plus points as well on the Tutorial scene - always great to see one in a jam game and not rely on walls of text. Appreciate adding in the zoom function too, as well as the gameplay video on your page.

Keep it up!

I wanted to maintain realism in terms of bullet size; they’re already huge in relation to the player.
