That actually makes a lot more sense, and I appreciate you explaining it. I didn't realize the demo was intentionally before the major decision point. My criticism was based purely on what I experienced in the demo, so I can see now that I was judging the setup without knowing where it was going.
I think knowing that there will eventually be a choice between going back to Miles and staying with Adrien definitely changes how I look at it. I was mostly frustrated because I personally found the initial decision to stay with Adrien difficult to understand given how little she knew him at that point, but I can see now that this is more of a setup for the routes rather than the final dynamic of the game.
Regardless, I genuinely really loved the art and the atmosphere. The visuals are gorgeous, and I think the way you present the characters and the story is really appealing. I also really like the premise and the fact that both Miles and Adrien are going to have their own routes, so I can definitely see myself giving the game another chance once there's more of it available.
Thank you for explaining the direction you have planned for it! I think I just got a little too invested in tweaking out at the MC before realizing I was only looking at the first tiny piece of the story.
Alsooo ( I do love unhinged characterss which is why I wanted to try this game in the first place). Againn thanks for explaining! When the full game is out, I will be down to try it againn~
(Sorry I would reply but cloudfare is on my ass, it doesn't show up and traps me in a loop)
