This is SUCH a great game, oh my god. I broke out a notebook and took physical notes on what was happening and why, and when [spoiler redacted] hit me that thing started looking like I was in a horror game descending into madness myself. Absolutely spectacular experience, I loved the text-only format and the note-taking and having to account for everyone and AUGH god I had so much fun with this!
I'll buy the VN version soon, but I doubt it will improve on this version of the game for me personally. The limitations of the text-based format were really charming, you know? There was just something about fumbling around in the dark with only the hand of a stranger to guide me that really made this magical.
