I was spending the holiday at home when a man showed up at my door; he was drunk and asking for money, but I didn't have any. He said "thanks anyway" and left, so I went back to what I was doing. My mom had called to tell me there was pasta in the fridge that I could heat up in the oven if I wanted. After finishing my chores, I watched some TV and then went to sleep. Sometime in the middle of the night, the man who had asked for money came back to my door. I woke up to see who it was; the man was asking for money again, but I told him I didn't have any. I told him to leave, but he insisted he wanted money and got angry. My house had security cameras, and my mom saw someone trying to break in. She messaged me telling me to hide under the bed because she was going to call the police. I quickly hid just as the man broke down the door. When the police arrived, the man fled into the woods and was never found
