A pretty smooth experience with some neat items and a similarly neat general premise. One thing that stuck out is that the spikes didn't damage enemies at all, only the player, which felt strange in some scenarios. I wish there was a little more variation in level variety, and I also wish that enemies dying had a more immediate effect than fading out of the world since that makes it a little ambiguous what the specific moment you kill it is (matters a lot with the uzi) but the artstyle is fun and I'm a big fan of the variety of weapons, the recoil on the shotgun was a nice touch. Fun entry!

First of all, thanks a lot for the indept review, I loved reading through this. So for the first criticism, the reason the spikes don't hurt enemies is for balancing reasons and to put more pressure on the player to bring them to buy more items (they're primary reason for being included was because my brother told me that the player didn't really have a reason to jump lol). But for the second one, god you're so right. That's something we'll absolutely change when we get our hands back in this project, as long with much more polish. Thanks again for the review!
